Dominic McAinsh was born in the UK. He obtained a BA and MA in Contemporary Dance from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds. Following his studies he worked as a member of the TanzMainz ensemble as an apprentice and later as a soloist at Tanz Theater Pforzheim. Dominic joined GöteborgOperans Danskompani in 2024.
