Hiroki Ichinose was born and raised in Maui, Hawaii. He received his B.F.A in dance with a minor in computer programming from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. He has worked as a freelance artist touring internationally with Aszure Barton & Artists, Kyle Abraham/A.I.M, Rashaun Mitchell, among others. He has most recently been dancing as a soloist with Staatstheater Nuremberg Ballet where he has performed works by Hofesh Schechter, Ohad Naharin, Alexander Ekman, Johan Inger, and Goyo Montero. He was featured in Dance Magazine’s “25 to Watch” in 2016.
Hiroki has been a member of the GöteborgOperans Danskompani since 2018 and has performed in: Au Revoir, Solo Echo, Love, Sacre, Contemporary Dance, Forever, Maybe, Wild Poetry, Hammer, Dust and Disquiet, 12 Songs, Oblivion, Here Not Here, Continuim, SAABA, Skid.
