Ivo Mateus was born in Oporto, Portugal. After completing his education in BallettSchule Theater Basel he then, with the age of 18, joined Nederlands Dans Theater 2 for three years.
Ivo joined the company in 2023 and has performed in: SAABA, Forever, Maybe, Hammer, Wild Poetry.
