Astrid Olsson

Astrid Olsson, Swedish creator, designer and costume designer, is a trained tailor and pattern constructor and has worked with design and textile creations for over 20 years. During her career the assignments have varied from wearable favorites to stage clothes for prominent artists, some to mentioned are Josephine Bornebusch, Titiyo, Loreen, Robyn, Veronica Maggio and most recently to Ane Brun. Astrid has previously collaborated as a costume designer with Kenneth Kvarnström in the dance productions Double Take, Tre and Det var inte jag. Igen. (It Was Not Me. Again.). Thereon Astrid invited Kenneth into her world in a collaboration with the brand By The No. For designs for the brand Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair Astrid has been awarded several prizes, including Kappahl Design Awards 2003, Elle Designer of the year 2005, HABIT New comer of the year 2007 and Italian Vogue Newcomer of the year 2011.
