Emelie Sigelius is a graduate of the Academy of Music and Drama, specialising in performance/singing, and of the academy’s opera programme. She has performed with Ystad Opera, Vadstena Academy, the Göteborg Opera, Utomjordiska Barockbolaget, Läckö Castle, and her independent group Hej Opera, which creates musical theatre with an operatic twist for children and adolescents. Emelie has directed chamber operas and musicals, primarily at Balettakademin in Gothenburg. She is also the presenter of the classical music programme ”Klassisk förmiddag” on Swedish Radio P2.
