Helena is a graduate of Lunnevad Folk High School’s Jazz Programme, where she played electric and double bass. These days, Helena’s primary creative outlet is punk band Staten. Staten have released a good deal of their own music and performed live on countless occasions. Over recent years, the band have also backed artists such as Miriam Bryant, Titiyo, Jonathan Johansson and Amanda Bergman. Helena was also the bassist in the house band at Körklang at Skansen in 2016 and 2017.
Kärlek skonar ingen (Love Spares No One) is Helena’s first appearance at The Göteborg Opera.
