This year’s theme is Musical Cities. Join us on a musical journey to Prague, Berlin, Paris, Liège, London and Vienna! During the 2022/23 season, The Göteborg Opera invites you to six chamber concerts, each having a city as their theme. Each themed city is related to the current performances on the Main Stage.

On a few Saturdays each season, musicians and singers from the Göteborg Opera and their guests give concerts in the foyer. The concerts usually start at 12.30pm if nothing else is stated. The café opens at 11.30am.
Tickets released on the Tuesday before each concert. Free admission with booked ticket. Max 2 tickets per person. There is limited seating, so your ticket doesn't guarantee a seat.

Examination concert with students from the Masters’ of Opera.
After 2 years of study for a Masters’ degree in Opera Högskolan för scen och musik, our 5 students will give a farewell concert in the Göteborg Opera foyer. Duing their studies theh have worked with coaches and mentors from the Göteborg Opera. In this concert you’ll hear some excerpts from the operas hey have worked with.
