Welcome to GO Club – an after-work live music venue for people who love discovery! Have a drink, relax, enjoy good food and explore new, surprising musical encounters. Musicals, jazz, pop, songs and poetry – enjoy live music on the stage with good food and drink.
On several evenings throughout the season, the Small Stage will be transformed into GO Club. Arrive early to grab a bite before the live entertainment starts or turn up any time during the evening. You can buy food, snacks and drinks at the bar whenever you want, even after the entertainment starts.
The doors to the GO Club open at 6:00pm.

9.00pm, Doors open to guests who have been to the Main Stage performance and just want to come in for a bite to eat. (N.B. Only if the performance ends before 10.00pm)
10.00pm, GO Club closes.
Admission is free from 9.00–10.00pm, i.e. after the live music ends.
Small Stage
You access the Small Stage via the main entrance and foyer. The Small Stage entrance is the to the left of the Opera Shop and box office. Ask one of our staff and they will be happy to guide you.
Poetic pop by Evelyn Gillespie – alter-ego for musical artist Evelyn Jons. Featuring: Evelyn Jons (song), Per Hovensjö (guitar), Rickard Åström (piano, keyboard), Viktor Turegård (bass), Miko Rezler (drums).
The evening also included highlights from musicals, performed by Jesper Blomberg, Åsa Sjöblom and Sami Yousri together with pianist Joakim Kallhed.
Choirmaster Gunnar Eriksson with Göteborg Opera Chorus, and folk music duo Lisa.
First out: Poème for violin and piano by Emil Sjögren, followed by a poetic dance duet from Alan Lucien Øyen’s Oblivion.
Gothenburg poet Olivia Bergdahl will take the stage with poetry reading accompanied by harp.
In the third and last act, opera singer Hannes Öberg treats us by singing “King Erik’s Songs”, poem by Gustaf Fröding, music by Ture Rangström
The Silver Screen. Film Music – opera, musical and instrumental
Music from movies such as The Godfather, Mission Impossible, Psycho, Aristocats, The Wizard of Oz, The Deer Hunter and James Bond-movies in a dazzling show with nearly thirty participating singers and musicians.
Performing: Opera singers from the Göteborg Opera Chorus, musical artists, string quartet with musicians from the Göteborg Opera Orchestra.
Bach Jazz Music by J. S. Bach – arranged for a jazz piano trio. Bach Jazz is a playful tribute to two of music history’s strongest phenomena. Performing: Emil Carlsson Rinstad (piano), Magnus Bergström (double-bass) and Ola Winkler (drums).

Riley O’Flynn Singer Riley O’Flynn, dancer in GöteborgsOperans Danskompani, performs his own music. Also participating: Rachel McNamee (dancer in GöteborgsOperans Danskompani), Yuki Tashiro, (violinist in the Göteborg Opera Orchestra), Julia Falthin (bass), Mikael Häggström (drums).
