Zackarina lives in a house by the sea with her parents. From the sand on the beach, she digs out a new friend, the clever Sand Wolf. While playing together, they explore life’s big questions. This poetic story deals with both the everyday and the existential, with humour and warmth.
The children’s opera The Sand Wolf is based on Åsa Lind’s award-winning, August Prize-nominated trilogy of books. The role of the Sand Wolf is played by opera singer Åke Zetterström. Zackarina is played by musical artist Hanna Brehmer.
