Vivaldi’s much-loved and immensely popular choral work Gloria ranges from grief to radiant joy, from soaring solos to passages of real grandeur. With its heartfelt interplay between singers and musicians, the music is both tender and jubilant.
The first part of the concert consists of arias and instrumentals from the baroque. The ensemble will play the first part as a chamber concert without a conductor.
