Join us for an exciting blend of song, music, dance, and discussions at the Small Stage during the Göteborg Opera’s anniversary week! Choose your favourite theme or attend all four – either way, it's the perfect warm-up for the gala performance The Göteborg Opera 30 Years.
Under the shared banner “Curious about…”, you'll explore the Göteborg Opera’s different artistic disciplines, crafts, and technical experts. Retrospectives meet future visions, behind-the-scenes insights meet live performances.

The Göteborg Opera’s Youth Choirs and the unique “30-Choir” (with performers born in either 1994 or 1964) will perform as the Skapa department presents their work with children, youth, and the curious. Also participating is Henning Ruhe, Artistic Director Opera/Drama.
Opera singers Kerstin Avemo and Mattias Ermedahl on their careers in a conversation with Henning Ruhe, Artistic Director Opera/Drama and Annalena Persson, deputy artistic director. Songs and music performed by new and rising stars from the Academy of Music and Drama, paired with inspiring and educational presentations on lighting techniques.
Musical artists Evelyn Jons and Lars Hjertner, with future stars from the Ballet Academy, combined with exciting presentations of the latest in costume design. Also participating is Mats Andersson, head of strategy, and project manager Daniel Isakson.
How do the dancers of GöteborgsOperans Danskompani navigate the creative process and the mental and physical demands of working in of one of the world's leading contemporary dance companies? Join our invited guests for a panel discussion about "Who are GöteborgsOperans Danskompani"? Hear the dancers share their experiences of being part of the company and discover one of the secrets behind the success: the holistic wellness program "The Sustainable Dancer." There will also be live performances from the dance pieces 12 songs and Atlas song. The discussions will be partly held in English.
