Relaxed Performances have an informal atmosphere where everyone is welcome to move around, dance, sing or just listen.
At a Relaxed Performance, you’re free to take part in your own way. The doors remain open during the performance, so audience members can easily come and go as they please. Everyone is welcome, regardless of disability and age.
Relaxed Performances are for everyone.
A playful and exciting story about opera.
The witch Hillary hears a word she has never heard before: “opera”. She looks up the word. It seems to be something where people sing all the time. Hillary conjures up the singer Maria Bellacanta who takes us and the witch herself on a journey into the world of opera.

Small Stage
You access the Small Stage by our main entrance and foyer, just as for Main Stage performances. The Small Stage is to the left of the Opera Shop. Ask one of our staff and they will be happy to guide you.
