Internationally, GöteborgsOperans Danskompani are almost as acclaimed as rock stars. Tickets for their tour performances sell out all over the world. When four of the dancers go on tour in Västra Götaland, they are not only dancers but also rock stars: a garage band surrounded by the audience, who in turn are enveloped by the music.
Choreographer Mari Carrasco creates energetic and twisted worlds with a strong affinity for music. In Little Concert, which has its world premiere during the Göteborg Opera Dance Festival in May 2025, the music is created by composer Mikael Karlsson, who has also composed the music for Alexander Ekman’s dance piece Hammer.
